A tour that takes you from the depths of the seas to the mountain peaks. We start in Kuching and move to the pristine rainforest of Permai. The resort itself has 3 species of monkeys and the area is rich in both flora and fauna to explore. A night walk offers an unforgettable new perspective. We go out into the sea on a kayaking expedition along the coast of the Santubong Peninsula to reach the small remote beach of Teluk Pasir. Camp the night at the beach, start a fire, listen to the birds and enjoy a refreshing sunrise. The return trip is through jungle trekking in the pristine primary rainforest. We go on a mangrove sunset cruise in the forest of Kuching Wetlands National Park. This is where we keep an eye open for the elusive proboscis monkeys & the estuarine crocodile. Watch the spectacular show of fireflies that light up the mangrove trees like Christmas trees. We now shift to the deep dark caves of Mulu, a UNESCO world heritage site holding many records in terms of cave height, width, and length. Understand how they were formed and explore its beauty. We visit Deer Cave, with the largest cave passage in the world, before watching millions of bats exit to hunt at dusk. We also visit a local village by boat before stopping at Wind Cave, the King’s Chamber, and the peaceful Clearwater Cave and Spring. It is time to start our trek up the steep Mt. Api. The view from the top is spectacular, as are the rock formations standing like knives against the hardy mountain trees. These are the Pinnacles. A tour that introduces you to everything Borneo.

This is a unique tour that combines some of the oldest civilizations with underwater exploration. The coral reef is remarkably beautiful, and you can explore starting at the depth of just 7 meters. Our visit to the Sibuti Coral Reefs National Park will give you a new perspective on beauty.  You can see feather stars, clams, and numerous fish varieties while you dive here. We now move to explore nature on the ground and reach the Niah Cave system. This is also the birthplace of civilization in Asia. The region has had a number of maritime tragedies giving rise to what is now enjoyed as wreck diving. Explore some around the region before flying away to the Northern Highlands. This is the homeland of the indigenous Kelabit tribe. This entire region is known for its peaceful agricultural atmosphere. Visit the Ulung Palang Longhouse, the Bario school, and the oldest longhouse in the region. Explore the salt springs which are the source of the famous Bario Salt. The area is rich in archeological sites including remnants of the region’s ancient people. We will get a chance to visit the mighty Batu Narit Arur Bilit, and the Batu Ipak Upai Semaring.

The coral island provides the best setting for a relaxed day of swimming and snorkeling. We take a boat to the coral islands of Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park. Come back to Kinabalu park and learn about the endemic species of flora and fauna at the Mountain Garden’s Exhibit Centre. The caves at Miri are an archeological heritage site. Visit the Niah caves and Museum, the Traders’ Cave, Great Cave & the Painted Cave. Conservation efforts are visible everywhere in Borneo, explore Semenggoh Nature Reserve with its semi-wild orangutans. Explore local culture with a night stay at a longhouse, cross the river on a native longboat and meet the Ibans. Join daily activities at the longhouse and see a blowpipe demonstration. The true beauty of Sarawak is visible once you climb up the highest mountain. Learn survival tricks before starting your trek. The long trek up the mountain will take you to a Church Camp. We set base and continue up the northern flank of the mountain. The climb offers panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. We return to a local Lepo Bunga homestay by 4-wheel drive. The local hospitality is legendary, and many travelers forgo sightseeing to enjoy the hospitality of the families and households.
